Pick Your Own

The Rivendell Farm “Pick Your Own” membership program allows us to share the garden experience with 30 local families annually. Our members select and pick their own fresh, organic produce, enjoy the tranquility of the farm, participate in some of the farm’s additional activities and spend the day.

Members pay a nominal yearly fee of $150.00 plus a $200.00 deposit towards vegetable and berry purchases. Our members then pick at their convenience and harvest by weight. Single person households can also join for a half member fee.

We, in turn, use organic methods to start the seeds, maintain the greenhouses/gardens. We weed, nurture and water daily to ensure members have the best available live produce and berries. Members have access to as many types of greenhouse and garden vegetables, herbs and berries that can be grown in the Whitehorse climate.  We grow several varieties of each type of vegetable to provide as much variety as possible for members to enjoy. We have also fenced the 10 acre garden to keep wildlife out and our members safe.

“Pick Your Own” members are given “preferred” status at the farm and are given first opportunity to pick.
